Delivering effective morphology K-3 instruction

When teachers invest in growing their knowledge, students benefit too. Our goal in offering these classes is to support educators as they implement Morphemes for Little Ones™ lessons to build morphological awareness for grades K-3 and begin their journey into the world of teaching morphology and language.

All attendees will gain skills and strengthen instructional practices as they share student needs and apply their morphology learning to planning and teaching the language components that are most critical at each grade level.

Morphemes for Little Ones Boot Camp Overview

This training focuses on using the Morphemes for Little Ones lessons to effectively include morphology in your teaching throughout the day. All professional learning content will be addressed using direct instruction, break-out discussion sessions, and hands-on activities.

Explore the language components as we connect morphology to the lessons in Morphemes for Little Ones. During this section, we'll discuss how to use the Language Stimulation Cards and begin to plan how your language rich classroom will look, feel, and sound.

Next, attendees will experience Morphemes for Little Ones lessons in action. Participants will observe and join in as they experience the flow of teaching morphological awareness from K - grade 3. They'll also learn more about how to use the Morpheme Grabber and Morpheme Wall, ensuring an engaging and interactive learning experience.

Learn more about how to use the built-in assessments, engage in Q&A with the professional learning facilitator and your colleagues, and gain practical instructional tips to enhance your daily language and decoding instruction.

On the Eventbrite page you'll be directed to select the number of required seats and enter the name, email address, title, school or district name, and phone number for each registrant. A confirmation message will be sent to all participants.

Registering with a Purchase Order

If you're registering with a Purchase Order, please email your PO to wsorders@95percentgroup.com.

All POs must include the name, email address, title, school or district name, phone number, and the correct Morphemes for Little Ones class code listed above, by session for each registrant. This information must appear on your PO or can be sent as an attachment.

Refund Policy

Refunds are permitted up to 7 days before the event, less processing fees.

Virtual Training Guidelines

Morphemes for Little Ones products are not included in the cost of the sessions and must be purchased before the workshop by contacting sales@95percentgroup.com or visiting our web store.

Attendees should log in to the virtual class using the school or district email address used when registering. Pre and post-training information will be sent to this email. This email address will also be used to confirm attendance.

Attendees will receive a 5-hour Certificate of Completion.
