Laura Stewart is an educator and organizational leader. She has served as a teacher, administrator, adjunct professor, and director of numerous professional development initiatives nationwide.

Before joining 95 Percent Group, Laura served as the Chief Innovation Officer at The Reading League and the Chief Academic Officer for Professional Development at Highlights for Children. She presents nationally and internationally and is a published author. Laura’s passion is empowering educators to positively impact ALL students and ultimately change the course of literacy achievement in this country.

Zach Groshell, PhD

Education Consultant and Author of Just Tell Them: The Power of Explanations and Explicit Teaching

Dr. Zach Groshell is a leading voice in explicit instruction and the science of learning. He began his career as an elementary school teacher before completing his doctorate in instructional design.

He is an internationally recognized keynote speaker and the founder of ER Education, where he leads research-aligned professional learning for schools around the world. His consultancy work includes supporting school systems on curriculum design, instructional coaching, and pedagogical improvement.

Zach is the author of Just Tell Them: The Power of Explanations and Explicit Teaching and publishes widely read analyses on evidence-informed teaching on his website, Substack, and in numerous publications, including Harnessing the Power of Learning by Nathaniel Swain. He also hosts the podcast Progressively Incorrect, where he interviews leading experts in education and learning science.

Judie Caroleo

Director of Product Development, Literacy 95 Percent Group

Judie Caroleo is Director of Product Development, Literacy, where she applies her expertise in the Science of Reading and the Science of Learning to shape evidence aligned instructional tools and resources.

Prior to this position, she served as Director of Professional Learning, supporting districts nationwide in launching and sustaining MTSS and RTI initiatives. Judie is a passionate educator committed to improving outcomes for all students and empowering educators with research-driven practices that advance the company’s mission: ensuring that 95 percent of all children learn to read.

Adam Amato

Assistant Principal, Fairless Local School District, OH

Adam Amato is a longtime member of the Fairless Local School District, where he began his career as a student teacher. Since joining the district, he has served in a variety of roles, including classroom teacher, intervention specialist, literacy coach, and instructional coach. During his tenure he worked with staff to align reading instruction across all tiers and improve reading achievement.

Beginning in the 2026–27 school year, Adam will serve as Assistant Principal at Fairless Elementary School. In this role, he will continue to support a focused approach to literacy by promoting consistent instructional routines, aligning practices across tiers, and creating conditions for stronger, more sustainable reading outcomes for all students.
