Laura Stewart
Chief Academic Officer, 95 Percent Group
Laura Stewart is an educator and organizational leader. She has served as a teacher, administrator, adjunct professor, and director of numerous professional development initiatives around the country.
Before joining 95 Percent Group, Laura was the Chief Innovation Officer with The Reading League and the Chief Academic Officer for Professional Development at Highlights for Children. She presents nationally and internationally and is a published author. Laura’s passion is empowering educators to positively impact ALL students and ultimately change the course of literacy achievement in this country.

Ken Kirby
AL Regional Literacy Leadership Specialist
A passionate educator, Ken began his career as a Kindergarten teacher before serving as a building-level Alabama “Reading First” Coach. Later, as a Regional Literacy Specialist (RLS) with the Alabama Reading Initiative, he supported multiple districts in northeast Alabama. In 2017, as K-12 School Improvement Specialist for Marshall County Schools, he supported reading, math, science, and overall school improvement initiatives across twelve schools.
Ken has recently supported sixty K-3 schools across north central Alabama as a Regional Literacy Leadership Specialist (RLLS) for nine school districts, managing elementary curriculum, assessment, Science of Reading implementation, student-centered coaching, and impactful processes supporting the MTSS framework.
